 MIDDAY ASSISTANT - Required to start as soon as possible

Band 1, Point 3
(Part-time – term time only - 38 weeks)
Monday-Friday, 11:30am – 1.00pm (7.5 hours per week)
Permanent following a successful induction.

Navigation Primary School is a friendly and inclusive school and the governors wish to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable midday assistant to supervise the children at lunchtime, both in the dining hall and in the playground. Applicants will need to be organised and be able to work well within a team. Previous experience in this role is not necessary although some experience of working with children and in schools would be useful. Paediatric First Aid qualification preferred, or willingness to undertake the two-day course, fully funded by the school.

The safety of children and young people is paramount and the school’s governing body and staff are fully committed to the rigorous implementation of safeguarding procedures and arrangements. All posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS and references will be taken up.
