TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2  

Fixed term contract to start 1st September 2026 until 31st August 2027.

33.75 hours per week, term time only and five inset days

Salary Band depending on experience pro rata per annum

The governors of this popular, happy and successful primary school are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced teaching assistant to join our highly skilled support team across Key Stage 1 and 2.

The successful candidates will: 

·         be committed to upholding the school’s values and vision;
have appropriate experience and qualifications to provide support in classes across the school, including small group and 1:1 support;

·         be able to deliver English, mathematics and pastoral intervention programmes to small groups;

·         have an enthusiastic and adaptable approach with high expectations of learning and behaviour, with a passion for helping children achieve their full potential; 
be positive and caring;

·         be hardworking and a good team player;

·         be energetic and willing to engage in all aspects of school life to achieve the best for the children within the school;

·         be flexible and willing to try out new initiatives.
