1. How do I enrol my child at Navigation Primary School?

For full details on admissions please refer to the admissions tab in the Information section of our website. 

2. At what age can my child start nursery?

A child can start once they are 3 years of age; nursery only admits pupils in September and January (subject to availablilty and at the headteacher's discreation) in each academic year.

3. Can my child attend nursery full-time?

Places are allocated for either a full-time, morning or afternoon place following the criteria detailed in the ursery Admissions Policy.

4. Can I come and look around school prior to making a decision?

For entry into reception and nursery, due to the volume of interest, group school tours are arranged - the dates of thes can be found on the home page. For entry in other years please call school on 0161-912-5937 to make an appointment.

5. When will I know if my child has been allocated a place at Navigation Primary School?

Nursery places are allocated at the beginning of March each year and Reception places in the middle of April each year.

6. Where can I buy uniform?

All items of uniform, including those with the school logo  i.e. sweatshirts, polo shirts, cardigans, book bags and shower-proofs coats, can be ordered online with Gooddies.co.uk and delivered to school or your home. Major supermarkets will stock items such as trousers/skirts, shirts etc.

7. Which secondary school do most Year 6s leaving Navigation go to?

This varies each year but the schools most Navigation pupils go to are: Wellington School, Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, Sale Grammar, Altrincham College or North Cestrian.
